Three twelve-core Zen 4 parts share similar names: this 170W 7900X, the 65W non-X 7900, and the 120W 7900X3D with stacked cache on one six-core die. Only the 5.6GHz 7900X belongs on this page.
Stepping up to a 170W TDP means no cooler is supplied in the retail box, and modest single-tower heatsinks will struggle under all-core loads. It fits AM5 boards with DDR5 memory and carries basic Radeon graphics on the I/O die.
