What the sales show

About 11 sales a week in the four weeks to 20 Oct.

Before you buy or sell a used MX500 1TB

Unlike the lower-tier DRAM-less Crucial BX500, the MX500 1TB uses TLC NAND with an onboard DRAM cache, so check the label to confirm it is an MX500. Most listings are 2.5-inch cased drives, though an older M.2 SATA version also exists that will not work in NVMe-only M.2 slots.

A 2.5-inch SATA III drive needs both a motherboard SATA data cable and a PSU SATA power lead, neither of which comes in Crucial's box.
