Before you buy or sell a used RTX 5080
The RTX 5080 launched in January 2025 with 16GB of GDDR7, so a used card may still be in warranty. Ask whether the receipt comes with it, because terms differ between makers.
It draws 360W through a 16-pin 12V-2x6 plug, and Nvidia's minimum power supply is 850W. Ask for a photo of the socket and check the plug is fully seated when you fit it. The obvious used alternative is the RTX 4090, which has 24GB against this card's 16GB.
