Before you buy or sell a used RTX 4090
Check the power connector first. The 12VHPWR plug on the RTX 4090 has a record of melting when it is not fully seated, so ask for a clear photo of the socket on the card and the end of the cable, and walk away from any scorching or discolouration.
It draws 450W and Nvidia's minimum power supply is 850W. Most versions are over three slots thick, so measure your case first. On a card at this price, pay through eBay's checkout so the Money Back Guarantee applies, and test it under full load as soon as it arrives.
