Before you buy or sell a used RTX 3090

The 2020 RTX 3090 mounts half of its 24GB GDDR6X memory on the back of the board, unlike the 2022 RTX 3090 Ti, which is a separate part. Those rear memory chips run hot under load, so check memory junction temperatures in HWiNFO.

Rated at 350W, this triple-slot Ampere card needs at least a 750W PSU with separate 8-pin PCIe cables, or the 12-pin adapter on the Founders Edition. It is also the last GeForce generation to feature NVLink fingers.
