Before you buy or sell a used i9-14900K

Peaking at 6.0 GHz across twenty-four cores (8P+16E) and thirty-two threads, the i9-14900K can suffer permanent 14th-gen Vmin voltage degradation. Confirm it passes shader compilation without crashing, check the serial for Intel's five-year boxed warranty, and install a 0x12B or newer BIOS.

UHD 770 graphics distinguish it from the i9-14900KF, while the 6.2 GHz 14900KS and 65W 14900 are also separate parts. No cooler comes in the box, and 253W turbo loads past its 125W base require a 360mm liquid cooler on LGA1700.
